We offer a since long time optimized machine developed to make the edge preparation of pre-galvanized and aluminized steel strips for high frequency welded steel tubes.
Objectives = remove by shaving a small quantity of over metal surrounding the strip’s edge. Once shaved this area will be clean and free from Zinc and Aluminium and we will also get a de-burring of the slitting burrs.
Advantagies = less energy / power requsted to weld tube, hence energiu cost saviongs or running faster, less dropping of melt Zinc and Aluminium on impeders, this will bring longer lasting of it ( less burning ) determining less tube mill stops and tube scraps . Less sparkling while welding since strip edge free of burrs also this will lengthen impeder life time as well as inductor one.
Less risk of carburized particles into the welding bath and false welding. Less sticking of melt Zinc and Aluminium on carbide tips reducing their usage.
Amortizing time is pretty quick when welding intensively pre-galvanized tubes thanks to less line stops ( higher production yield ), with less tube scraps, less consumables used more reliable welding with less rejections at customer side.
The device is using standard ISO carbide inserts ( not recommended ) but easy to be found in commerce. Range of steel strip thickness max 6 ( 8 ) mm
